I have a new book of 88 love poems up on Amazon, Against The Night, which tells the tale of a long marriage, old-fashioned as fudge, and built in parts like a bicycle. Poems as quick as hope, poems to replace your breath with fire.
As for me, I have placed formal and free verse poetry with The Threepenny Review, Evansville Review, North American Review, Nimrod International, Atlanta Review, Main Street Rag, and dozens of others. I have won a Plainsongs Award, been a semi-finalist for The Pablo Neruda Award, and had my poems appear in several “Best Of…” anthologies.
As well, I have published haiku with Frogpond, Mayfly, Modern Haiku, and Acorn, and speculative poems with Asimov’s, Strange Horizons, Star*Line, Magazine of Speculative Poetry and Tales of the Unanticipated.
I have a new fantasy novel out, third in the Saga of Sinnesemota series. Call of the Labyrinth follows Rev and his fiancée Stara as they seek magic to establish an empire of peace in a world racked by war. You may find it, and the two previous books in the series, Disk Of Dragons and Trollen Rose, on Amazon.

I’ve been on somewhat under a billion writing panels at conventions, discussing poetry and other trivia. One should not take this as proof of how much I love to talk.
I’ve only just discovered your blog. I really like what you write and how you write about things. I look foward to exploring your blog at leisure.
Thank you kindly. Your blog also strikes me as informative and fun.
I wanted to contact you by email, but can’t find one on your post. You have a beautiful blog and your writing is excellent, clear and thoughtful. I have nominated you for The Versatile Bloggers Award. I have received one myself. It is an acknowledgement by other bloggers for a site they believe to be outstanding. Here is a link to my post for the details:

Thank you, Linda. I am honored. It looks like a worthy and enjoyable effort. P M F
Thanks for the kind praise on “The Lake is a Mind…”
I hope our paths cross soon. Take care!
All best, Ben Purkert
Thank you for your kind comments on my poem, “Poltergeist.” It looks like we’ve been appearing in the same reviews. I hope that we will have a chance to talk in the near future, perhaps at one of those writing panels. Best Wishes, Chris Bullard
